Benefits of MicroLaserPeel
A number of our patients have used MicroLaserPeel to diminish the appearance of freckles, sun spots, age spots, fine lines and scars from acne or chicken pox. Our patients who choose this gentle laser skin treatment in Syracuse enjoy the following benefits:
- Minimal irritation
- Overall skin improvement
- Little recovery time
For more visible lines and wrinkles, our board-certified surgeons often recommend BOTOX® Cosmetic or one of our injectable fillers. Combining these treatments with a MicroLaserPeel can help you address multiple areas at once and achieve fresh, younger looking skin on your entire face.
How It Works
There is relatively no preparation needed for this facial skin care treatment in Syracuse, NY. When you come in for treatment, a mild anesthetic cream is applied to numb the skin for a more comfortable treatment. The laser targets the areas you would like treated and helps restore skin to its original state. Most patients experience mild redness, much like a sunburn. Dr. Baum or Dr. Deboni will advise you on specific after-treatment care, and we will provide you with products for your use during your short recovery time.
Your Refreshed Look
A MicroLaserPeel can help you achieve smoother skin with improved coloration, texture, and diminished fine lines. Most people who undergo a MicroLaserPeel find that their skin feels and looks refreshed, and they usually return for follow-up treatments every 6 to 9 months.
